Ideal starting point for me as I live in the neighbourhood. But there is parking loser to the ottawa river, which may be a better starting point for you.
Between June 1st and September 30th an artist creates wonderful works of art using the Ottawa's natural stones.
There are usually a few fishermen fishing just west of the bridge.
During the summer there's a licensed patio restaurant behind the sandy beach. One of Ottawa's unknown gems.
