This disused dam was handed to the national Parks after it had been used to water the steam locomotives before the big climb up to Sydney
Spectacular views from the top of the cuttings are a short walk off the GNW track.
There is an iconic palm tree at the top of the bay here that makes a very picuresque setting.
Be careful crossing the tracks here. There is town water on the western side platform.
