The way points of this running / walking route:
In front of you,to the left,is a but that will take you to Gansen-ji Temple, saving you an hours walk. I chose to walk as the road takes you through some picturesque countryside.
There is a big road-sign that gives you directions to Gansen-ji. From here, until your next turn-off,the road becomes narrow and can be quite busy.
Keep an eye-out for a bus-shelter then turn right. From here, until you arrive at Kamocho Shobu,is some lovely scenery.
You are about to re-enter route-43,albeit for about 800m.
Pay attention as your turn-off is easily missed.Don't panic if you do miss this junction, you can reconnect at Gansen-ji.
If you haven't visited the temple complex, and want to,it is just down the lane on your right.
Just off the track is a Sekibutsu of three children facing west. Each figure is holding prayer-beads.
As you exit the track, and before you set-foot onto the road, there is a small statuette on your left.
Be aware of traffic.
Across the road,at the junction of the road and track,is Sekibutsu Mirokunotsuji - image of Syaka-Buddha, the creator of Buddhism.
Pay attention here as this junction is a bit obscure.
From here it is a nice 800m stroll through scenic farmland to the village of Kamocho Ohata.
Now this lane is narrow so pay attention.
Turn left here.If you are beginning to feel hungry,an ideal spot is just a few-hundred meters away.
This is an ideal site to take a break and rest awhile.
From here, until you reach the village of Kamocho Mori, the track can become a bit confusing.Pay attention.
For the next hundred meters or so,there are two junctions.Pay attention to your map.
The road you are about to join can be busy.
The turn-off here can be a bit obscure. Also, from here to the village of Kamocho Kitashimode, are some small side-tracks.Pay attention.
You have about 2km to go.If you are doing good time, take a break here. This is a quaint wee village with some great scenery.
It is about 1km from here to the exit.
The lane ends at this point but,you will see a track off to your right.Follow it.It is a nice walk from ther until the end.
You have arrived at the end of your track. From here it is a hop-step-and-jump back to the station.
