The way points of this running / walking route:
As-soon-as you alight your train, you will experience a different environment from when you boarded at Demachiyagi.
There is a wee shrine just across the bridge, up on the hill. It makes for a nice photo.
You have reached the village of Kibune. Take note of the restaurants with dining-platforms erected over the Kibune-gawa.
This is a very-famous site as many people photograph it.
The shrine is some 1300-years old and is still in pristine condition.
You are now at the entrance to your pilgrimage. Admittance is 200-yen. From here the track become steep.
An ideal place to rest.
In this area are the intertwining roots of giant Cedar.
Don't be in a hurry to leave here. This is a very-beautiful complex and worth a good look around.
Don't forget to have your photo taken with the Tengu.
